Britannia approved by CITB to become Approved Training Organisation

Britannia Safety and Training has been officially approved by the CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) to become an Approved Training Organisation (ATO).

The ATO accreditation is a new initiative and is part of a change of strategic direction by the CITB, to recognise professional training providers working within the construction industry. Britannia is based on the Wymondham Business Park in Norfolk and is one of only a few training companies in the Eastern Region to be awarded as such.

The CITB is changing the way it supports training for the construction industry. As an ATO provider Britannia has been through a thorough qualification process to demonstrate their provision of training services is at the highest level and meets the industry approved standards.

Moving forward Britannia will be listed as a preferred provider by the CITB in their training directory and will become part of the automated grant payments system, making it easier for employers to connect with Britannia and through a smoother delivery administration mechanism. Britannia has committed to ensuring all training products meet the CITB training standards and including providing recognised courses such as City and Guilds.

Colin Wright MD, Britannia Safety and Training “We take our provision of training services very seriously. Having been in the game for 20 years now we have grown to be recognised as a leading training provider for the construction industry through our commitment to employing the best staff, providing the best environment and by ensuring we keep abreast of industry matters. The ATO qualification rubber stamps our commitment to this”.
