THE SUCCESSFUL TRAINING PLAN.
Over recent months Britannia has had substantial success with company training plans. What is a training plan I here you ask ? Quite simple it’s a way of organising what your company needs are for a competent workforce, planning and prioritising that training over a dedicated period, say 12 months and provisionally committing to that training. The benefits are your company knows who needs what, when and how it can be gained, where to go, and the investment required to fulfil that requirement. Major benefit is discounted rates on your requirement.

BLUE CHIP COMPANY SEEKS ADVICE.
A major blue chip contractor has recently sought the advice of Britannia to achieve levels of competence in temporary works.
An HSE high profile area of concern means that an understanding of the issues which arise when working in TW is paramount. The training and assessment will cover all personnel involved from directors to operatives, and will include safety managers and supply chain contractors. |

BRITANNIA AT THE OLYMPICS.
Well were in the Olympics, well not quite, but we are approved to major contractors and have been contracted to provide training to Principle contractors and contractors in the village and transport areas. Specialist work has been conducted around the Stratford main terminal. The feed back from both clients and delegates has given us the chance of the silver if not gold medal position.

CDM ROLE GROWS.
With the impact of the new CDM regulations 2007, and Britannia`s unique ability to achieve simple solutions to the general bureaucratic approach many have to CDM, we have seen a substantial increase in the Britannia role as CDM co-ordinator. It appears that clients are appreciative of the “hands on approach” to the job, which many shy away from. At present we are involved in a number of schemes with value running into several millions of £’s.

Happy Birthday.
Why????.... Who’s birthday is it ?
Ours!!! Yes, the five year milestone has been passed. Britannia has been at the Britannia training centre for 5 years. And like many youngsters we’ve had our tears and tantrums, but with great clients, customers, staff and instructors, we have done well.
My thanks and gratitude to you all.
