“On behalf of London Luton Airport, Luton Borough Council and HSE, thank you for your excellent, stimulating presentation and the seminar we held yesterday.

We feel the event was a great success. Your talk was absolutely right for the event as it combined your considerable technical knowledge in Falls from Height with illustrations of good practical measures directly applicable to improving safety in the workplace.

We felt that the event was a truly ‘partnership approach’, drawing on experience and knowledge from both the private and public sector.”

Case Study: GPL Construction

Peter and Claire Clift started their business 12 years ago. They were one of the very first clients of Colin, our MD, and he first met with them in the kitchen of their home.

They were extremely committed to starting their own business, and didn’t want to cause any harm or damage, so came to Colin to ask how to comply with the myriad of regulations that are relevant to a construction company. At this crucial start-up phase, Britannia helped them to ensure that they were doing everything right from day one.

Fast-forward 12 years and GPL Construction has an annual turnover of £7 million, an industrial unit in King’s Lynn, 30 contractors on site, a staff of 6 and contracts with some of the largest food companies in the UK.

We’re proud to have played a part in supporting Peter and Claire to achieve their successes and helping to build their culture of safety, and we continue to work with them to this day.
